La société allemande Ahead met à disposition une nouvelle version de Nero Vision Express V. 3.0.1.4.
On utilisera surtout Nero Recode (ici dans sa version 2.1.1.24) pour ses qualités de copie et de ré-authoring de DVD et ce, grâce à un procédé unique mis au point par la société dont le nom de code est: Nero Digital.
Disons que Recode est une version commerciale de DVD Shrink.
Sur ce dernier point, certains bruits du net émettent que le programmeur de Shrink serait passé chez les Allemands Ahead ce qui expliquerait certaines similitudes de la GUI (Interface).
Pour que Recode puisse prendre toute son ampleur, il sera nécessaire de lui adjoindre un petit logiciel comme AnyDVD.
