EXCEL: How to pivot data (transform lines into columns & inverse)

Le
claire soc sci
I want to sort my data in Excel according to lines.

However, Excel sorts only on columns.

I used to know a command to pivot the spreadsheet: one keystroke and the
page was inverted, columns became lines and lines became columns.

Absolutely can't find such a command in my current version of Excel 2002.
Please help!
Alternatively, if you know a way to sort data by lines
Thanks
Claire

You just copy your datas and in Edit/special paste you'll find what you
want. (I don't remember in english...)
