Bonjour,

je me

disabled SMB signing on the server

RESOLUTION: MAC clients do not support SMB signing. Because the SBS server
is a
domain controller, the feature of SMB signing is automatically enabled on
the
server through the default domain controller group policy.

To resolve the issue, we disabled SMB signing by editing the group policy.
The
steps you can follow to do the same are:

1. Open the active directory users and
computers.
2. Right click the domain name <domain.local>
and go into properties.
3. Select the option for group policy, and click
on open.
4. Right click the default domain controller
policy and click on edit.
5. Expand computer settings, windows settings,
security settings, local policies, and highlight security options.
6. On the right hand pane, make sure that the
following options are either "Not Defined" or set to "Disabled":
i. Microsoft
Network Client: Digitally sign communications (always)
ii. Microsoft
Network Client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees)
iii. Microsoft
Network Server: Digitally sign communications (always)
iv. Microsoft
Network Server: Digitally sign communications (if client agrees)

7. Once you have verified these, close the
window.
8. This will bring us back to the Group Policy
Management console.
9. Right click the default domain policy and
click on edit.
10. Again, expand computer settings, windows
settings, security settings, local policies and highlight security options.
11. On the right hand pane, make sure that the
following options are either "Not Defined" or set to "Disabled":
i. Microsoft
Network Client: Digitally sign communications (always)
ii. Microsoft
Network Client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees)
iii. Microsoft
Network Server: Digitally sign communications (always)
iv. Microsoft
Network Server: Digitally sign communications (if client agrees)

12. These settings should be enforced by running
gpupdate /force.
13. If they aren't it might require a reboot.

Once we made these changes, the MAC clients were able to access the server

Bonjour,

effectivement...
Directory.
