Mail me fait des misères...

bonjour,

avec mail (7.3) sous mavericks (10.9.3)

j'ai trois comptes mail chez free.
imap en réception, smtp authentifié en émission.

lorsque je fais un diag de connexion, j'ai toujours un des trois comptes
qui ne veut pas se connecter.

je saisie à nouveau mon login et password dans le compte soit disant en
erreur. je refais un diag et la, c'est l'autre compte qui est en erreur.
je saisie à nouveau mon login et password... et ainsi de suite.

on dirait que mail mélange les comptes ?


je n'ai pas de probleme avec mes autres comptes gmail, yahoo, ou
outlook...


un bug ?
avez-vous une idée ?

Peux-tu quitter Mail, le relancer,

Va dans le menu Fenêtre -> Diagnostic de connexion. R

Réduit la taille de cette fenêtre à la moitié de ton écran en
hauteur (pour être tranquille)

Clique sur le bouton Afficher les détails et copie le résultat pour
qu'on puisse t'aider (vérifie juste qu'il n'y a pas de données perso
avec des en-têtes de mail dedans).

Et s'il y a des adresses mail, maquilles-les (genre
) histoire qu'elles ne traînent pas trop sur Usenet.

Comme tu dis !
Et quand tu envoies des courriels en utilisant le smtp de Free, tu as
des problèmes ou bien c'est juste dans Diagnostic de connexion que le
problème semble se poser ?

Vérifie les paramètres du smtp : Free envoie sur le port 25 (non
sécurisé) avec comme serveur smtp.free.fr.
Au besoin, si tu as un compte gmail, tu peux essayer (avec ton
identifiant gmail) le smtp de Gmail : smtp.gmail.com sur le port 465.

25/tcp est fermé sur smtp.free.fr (peut-être est-il ouvert pour les

Ou 587/tcp, qui autorise les méthodes d'authentification :

Euh... Message initial indique : imap en réception, smtp authentifié en
émission.
Le smtp authentifié, c'est sur le port 465, utiliser SSL,
Authentification pat Mot de passe.
Les mêmes réglages que pour Gmail.
La différence : Gmail, 465 est le port pat défaut, alors aue pour Free,
il faut entrer le port par défaut 465.

J'ai 5 adresses Mail chez Free dont une avec smtp authentifié (sur
l'iphone). (pas toutes sur le même serveur -> ne tombent pas en panne en
même temps quand ça arrive) Pas de problème ces derniers temps..

Pour info, des CORP Free sont à l'écoute pour ces problèmes sur le
groupe :
proxad.free.services.messagerie (sur le serveur news.free.fr).

Le message initial n'indique pas si les comptes ont été transférés sur
Zimbra ou pas.
Pour le compte défectueux, se connecter sur le webmail, relever et
transmettre la référence nginx s'il y a pour orienter le dépannage sur
le serveur idoine.

Je n'en sais pas autant que toi, tout ce que je sais c'est que ça
fonctionne (depuis que j'ai une Freebox, mais ça fonctionnait /aussi/ à
l'époque où j'avais une Livebox Orange _et_ un compte Free gratuit..
c'était même un moyen de me dépanner quand le smtp Orange était dans les
choux). Donc, c'est à tester, pour KLP.

cela prouve bien que les réglages sont tous bons car je ne fais aucune
modifications sur le paramétrage des comptes entre les diags.

j'ai activer les logs (Turn on Logging.scpt) c'est assez verbeux mais
rien de flagrant.

je soupçonne plutôt free sur ce coup !

l'utilisation du smtp authentifié est /obligatoire/ pour envoyer des
mails lorsque le fai n'est pas free justement.

je vais aller faire un tour sur p.f.s.messagerie comme le suggère gérard.
