mise à jour d'un firmware d'un lecteur DVD avec XP

salut a tous

je dois mettre a jour le firmware de mon lecteur de DVD .

je l'ai deja fait sur WIN98 " il y a longtemps ", car je pouvais ( à "
l'epoque " ) acceder facilement au DOS.

comment fait on sur XP pro ?

à tte fin utile , voilà la notice d'installation du firmware :

<<<< Files:
aspio133.hex : Firmware Version 1.33
upg5a.exe : Upgrade Utility program
up105.bat : Batch program to exicute the upgrade.

PROCEDURE
1. Connect Pioneer DVD-ROM drive on the Secondary IDE Port with the drive
set as Master.
2. Turn ON the PC.
3. Make sure there is no disc in the drive unit before the firmware
upgrade is executed.
4. Execute the UP105.BAT file.
5. The current version number of the firmware will be shown and the new
firmware will be uploaded.
6. When the DOS prompt returns reboot the computer by powering OFF then ON.

j'ai bien compris qu'il fallait aller dans le DOS ?
je mets les fichiers sur une disquette et je demarres le PC là-dessus ,
c'est çà ?

Bonjour,

Oui c'est ça, vous faites une disquette bootable avec XP
Vous retirez les fichiers autoexec.bat et config.sys (supprimer)
vous copier les fichiers pioneer
Et une fois sur le prompt (a:>) vous tapez :
UP105.BAT
MAIS, comme le clavier seras un clavier US, il faut alors taper :
up105.bqt 5 (ce qui devrais bien inscrire : UP105.BAt)
