Pb d'install de Service Pack XP

Bonjour,

Je viens de découvrir ces nouvelles newgroups, les privates étant fermées,
j'espère être au bon endroit (communauté techniques MS)

alors,

je m'arrache les cheveux depuis lundi, à savoir :

un pc sous XP SP1 que je voudrais mettre à jour en sp2 ou 3. J'ai la même
erreur pour les 2 SP : "une erreur interne s'est produite".
Dans l'observateur d'evnt j'ai une erreur id 4373, mais rien de plus...

Le fichier svcpack.log, contient des erreurs, je mets une copie à la fin du
message, il y a bien des pb sur les dernières lignes, mais je ne comprend
pas tout...
Le WGA est bon.
J'ai passé plusieurs AV, antispy, c'est ok
Check disk fait, rien non plus
J'ai utilisé les différents outils MS pour remettre les bons droits de
registre et disque, bref je suis perdu.

Une idée ?

Il vient d'où le SP ? pour mettre sur quoi comme machine ? Et la configue
mémoire est comment ?

... pourrait indiquer un refus d'accès et donc de permissions.

Essayez ça (sans danger même s'il s'avérait que ce n'est pas un
problème de permissions) :

Sinon, puisque le CHKDSK /F en console de commande n'a rien donné,

Il vient d'où le SP ? pour mettre sur quoi comme machine ? Et la configue
mémoire est comment ?

C'est le cd de sp2&3 que l'on utilise pour toutes les autres machines.
C'est la même chose avec celui téléchargé par win update
le pc est un portable p4 4.3ghz et 512 de ram, dd à 50%, rien que de très
normal d'où mon étonnement.

testé aussi, de plus on a fait un vrai test de surface avec un prog dédié.

Alors réinitialisez avec SECEDIT (XP PRO)

Je sais que vous avez précisé que vous aviez utilisé tous les outils
Microsoft de réinitialisation des droits, mais au cas où :-)

secedit /configure /cfg %windir%repairsecsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb
/verbose

Perso., je me sers de Dial-a-fix (utile sur du HOME) :

Les packages MSI qui foirent...

Une réintallation de Windows Installer (pour SP2 et ultérieurs
seulement)

Il y a beaucoup de dossiers et fichiers qui ne sont pas trouvés dans le
log : je tenterais bien une réparation par boot sur un CD
d'installation à jour du SP1 pour remettre d'aplomb ; une réparation,
ça peut foirer vu les problèmes actuels rencontrés, et donc si vous
êtes en mesure d'effectuer une image de votre partition avant, ce
serait mieux.

Toujours si vous êtes en mesure d'effectuer au préalable une image de
la partition, vous pouvez aussi tenter directement une mise à jour SP2
ou SP3 en réparant le système SP1 par boot sur un CD d'installation
intégrant le SP2 ou SP3 : la différence avec une mise à jour normal (à
partir de XP actif), c'est que le dossier de désinstallation du service
pack n'est pas créé donc pas de désinstallation ultérieure possible...

un pc sous XP SP1 que je voudrais mettre à jour en sp2 ou 3. J'ai la même
erreur pour les 2 SP : "une erreur interne s'est produite".

Je constate à l'occasion qu'il a disparu depuis l'installation du SP3

Cela ressemble beaucoup à votre problème et je ne pense pas avoir une
démarche dans ce sens dans le fil donc voir

Suite à votre problème pouvez-vous regarder le fichier journal , fichier
texte, windows update.log qui se trouve dans %windir% soit c:windows
en général et essayez de repérer des erreurs de type 0x8XXXXXXX ou
0xXXXXXXXX ( X étant un chiffre ou une lettre ) . Je pense que cela
doit être dans les dernières lignes de ce fichier , vérifier en
fonction des dates des essais de passage en sp2.
Indiquez les ou joignez les lignes en question.
