probleme avec nouveau portable toshiba U200-163 sous debian

Bonjour,

J'ai voulu installer une debian sur mon nouveau portable toshiba
U200-163 et ca se passe très mal...

Rien à faire, il ne detectait pas du tout le réseau, je l'ai donc
installé sans réseau avec la rc2 de debian sarge.

J'ai remarqué qu'avec une ubuntu live, j'avais le net, et donc j'ai
booté dessus et en chrootant et donc en ayant le net, j'ai passé ma
sarge en sid, installer qques noyaux 2.6.16,17,18 pour 686.

Au début, en bootant sur ces noyaux, ca plantait au niveau de l'acpi,
j'ai donc rebooté sous ubuntu pour mettre acpi=off, pour les noyaux
2.6.16,17,18 en 686, mais là j'avais un truc du genre "smp motherboard
not found et une erreur d'opcode sur le cpu, et plantage...

J'ai remarqué par la suite que qd ubuntu se charge, il passe en mode
restricted drivers, etil utilise un linux image pour 386, j'ai donc
essayé pour les noyau 2.6.16,17,18 de mettre la version 486 (la 386
n'existant pas) mais là ca plante à un autre endroit:

Pour le 2.6.18 par exemple, ca fait cela:

Finalement, j'ai réessayé de me reinstaller la sarge en me disant que je
paserai sous sid, quand tout fonctionnerait bien mais je ne sais pas si
j'ai fait le bon choix quoiqu'il arrive, il vaut mieux que je repasse
sous sid dès le départ cad avant qure le net remarche? (passer sous sid,
en chrootant sur la debian depuis ubuntu live, et donc là j'ai le net,
si j'utlise le dev,proc,sys d'ubuntu live).

Voila quelques infos, que j'ai recolté sur la ubuntu live où tout
fonctionne (il reconnait eth0, eth1 en tout cas et ca a pas planté juste
une fois sur 6 demarrages)

Euh, j'ai du lui mettre une clé usb, pour faire le copier coller des
fichiers texte, d'où le sdb lol, sinon sous ubuntu, il reconnait le dd
en sata apparemment, vu que c'est du sda:

Voila...

J'attends vos conseils (sachant comme j'ai dit que là je suis sur une
sarge neuve que j'ai remise avec une image 2.6.8-2 386 je crois, et ca
boote sans planter, mais pas le net.

Je pense quand mm qu'il y a un truc qu'il doit pas aimer dans le proc
qui est un core duo, pq c'est bizarre qu'avec le 2.6.8 version 386 c'est
nikel et pas avec les autres (sachant que le noyau d'ubuntu fonctionnel
c aussi pour 386), donc il aimerait les trucs plus generiques que du 686
par exemple.

Plutôt que d'installer avec la Sarge pour passer en Sid, tu devrais
essayer directement l'installeur d'Etch ! L'installeur de Sarge
commence sérieusement à dater pour le matériel dernier cri ...

J'avais aussi essayé ca à un moment, mais il ne reconnaissait pas mon cdrom.

Grace à ca:

J'ai pu résoudre le pb en bootant avec l'option: "install
libata.atapi_enabled=1"

et pendant l'install, il m'a detecté nikel mes 2 cartes réseaux + cdrom
et dd sata.

Le soucis, c'est juste après la procédure d'install, quand on reboote
sans le cd, il boote bien et juste avant la fin, il arrete pas d'ecrire:
azx_get_response timeout, infiniment, et donc ca ne boote tjs pas :-(

Une idée? :-)

J'ai refait une install de debian etch en cumulant ce que j'ai fait et
noapic nolapic, et là c'est nikel avec le 2.6.16 par défaut.

Je suis passé en sid, et là il m'a upgradé le 2.6.16 et mis le 2.6.17.

Le 2.6.16 marche tjs nikel, mais le 2.6.17 fait planter la machine.

A partir du 2.6.16, j'ai mis le 2.6.18 qui lui aussi marche nikel.

C'est dommage, je peux pas virer le 2.6.17, pq sinon y'a une dependance
non satisfaite lol, donc on va devoir attendre l'evolution des paquets,
pour pouvoir un jour, virer ce 2.6.17 en toute tranquilité, qui m'embete
vu qu'il me fait une entree grub pour rien lol.

Il me reste à mettre xorg et kde mnt :-)

Je poste si y'a d'autres soucis :-)

Un autre soucis: je viens d'installer xorg et mnt, il me dit qd il
essaie de le configurer:

Valeur obligatoire

"Une valeur vide n'est pas autorisée pour ce paramètre" avec une touche
ok, et quand j'appuie sur "ok", rien à faire, ça reste là et ca force à
rebooter...

ET bien sure, après si je fais aptitude update, il me dit de faire un
dpkg-configure -a ou un truc de ce genre, vu que la config des paquets a
été interrompue, mais boum, je retombe sur le problème de la config de
xserver-xorg, qui me rebloque...

Une idée?
