Bjr.

Sur un portable Compaq sur lequel Win XP Home a du être réinstallé (suite
crash disque) Windows Update reste bloqué sur la page "Recherche de la toute
dernière version du logiciel Windows Update".

J'ai vérifié tous les réglages d'Internet Explorer et le firewall est
désactivé.

Qqun a-til déjà résolu ce pb ?

Bonjour Pierre.

J'ai fait la manip puis j'ai redémarré et relancé Window Update.

Toujours rien...

Et je ne sais pas où trouver un log d'erreur pour avoir une indication
qcq sur la nature du pb.

Jette un oeil dans le "WindowsUpdate.log" dans "C:windows"
et envoie les parties qui contiennent des erreurs et qui
concernent la date d'essai.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

C'était bien un pb de mauvais enregistrement d'une DLL.

Je conserve précieusement le lien vers la FAQ WU5, car vu
le nbre d'erreurs possibles qui sont listées, j'ai comme dans
l'idée que ça pourrait me reservir...

Il faut désormais installer MICROSOFT UPDATE qui couvre WINDOWS et OFFICE
