ArchLinux ne démarre plus qu'en console

Jusqu'ici ArchLinux (sur une Live USB) démarrait bien, y compris pour la
persistence.

Ce matin j'ai démarré une fois en mettant en live en RAM.

ensuite j'ai redémarré normalement plusieurs fois.

et maintenant, je ne comprends pas pourquoi je suis en console après
démarrage, ça m'affiche qqc du genre :

Logins : -root - toor -- arch - arch

(donc les # logins et leur pwd)

puis :
Login:

pas de X...

bon de toutes façons, je pense refaire cette clé live USB, depuis Xubuntu.

si possible avec un compte user autre que "arch".

je trouve que le temps d'attente est long pour "monter" D-bus et aussi
que ArchLinux rale à propos d'inodes défectueux sur mon CTKhome, à
chaque relance du système.

Aussi, ce matin, avec Chromium, pas moyen d'avoir Google Mail, un temps
beaucoup trop long (plus de 5mn) de chargement de la page, bizarre.

D'autant plus qu'avec Aurora, c'est à une vitesse "normale"...

Quelquefois j'ai l'impression que CTKArchLinux freeze.

Je ne peux pas t'aider par manque de compétence, à moins que tu n'aies
désinstallé gdm ou kdm etc.

Mais, je voulais juste te dire qu'il m'arrive d'installer des
distribution "en dur" sur des clé ou disque usb. Ceci permet de démarrer
plus vite et de personnaliser l'installation.

J'ai encore fait cela pour mon voisin débutant qui ne s'en sortait pas
avec son windows et son portable tout neuf (et auquel il ne préfère pas
toucher).

en dur sur ma clé USB CTKArchLinux à partir d'un autre linux : Xubuntu.

Ah ok, mais je prends quoi neinstall ou core ?
Je peux prendre la plus lourde de suite.
au fait je fais une seulle partition sur la première clé, j'imagine,
mais en ext2 ou FAT ?

OK, OK, je voius très bien la manip, heureusement j'ai des clés en réserve.

C'est fait et ça marche super bien, encore merci.

seul bémol, quand je démarre sur la clé ainsi installée, grub me dit ne
pas trouver le disque (hda2, 0) (de mémoire).

bon quand j'ai installé arch sur ma clé USB j'avais trois "disques" sur
mon système :

sda le disque dur interne sous Xubuntu
sdb une clé USB 2 Go où j'ai copié avec UNetbootin l'iso Arch
sdc une clé USB 4 Go sur laquelle j'ai installé Arch

mais bon sdb ou sdc ça ne veut pas dire grand chose vu que quand j'ai
démarré sur la clé "sdc" j'avais déconnecté la clé "sdb".

je pense que je devrai utiliser l'UUID et donc devrai modifier un
fichier de conf de grub.

Démarre sur ta clé et en root tu fais update-grub

En général, j'installe grub sur la racine de la clé pour ne pas
interférer avec celui du disque dur.

grub-install /dev/sdx ( x indique le "disque" amovible)
