Changement du nom de l'ordinateur ne fonctionne pas

Bonjour,
J'ai XP Home et SP1.
J'ai voulu changer le nom de l'ordinateur qui était SysTech en
TechnoMod. Dans panneau de configuration ---> perfo. et maint. --->
système, le nom du nouveau ordinateur apparaît mais lorsque je tape
hostname dans une fenêtre dos, l'ancien nom apparaît.
Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider pour que le changement se fasse
correctement ?
Cette action est irreversible, confirmez la suppression du commentaire ?

dans ce cas, essaie en parcourant la base de registre afin de modifier l'ancien nom par le nouveau (ATTENTION, sensible)
cela devrait se trouver ici HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlComputerName dans les sous-clé ou ici HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters dans la variable "hostname"
