How to get AUTH CODE for a .INFO domain to change registrar (LYCOS)

Hi folks,
I have bought a .INFO domain name by LYCOS 2 years ago.
I 'd like to change my registrar ( getting out from LYCOS )
But I'm stuck 'cause I can't obtain the AUTH CODE
to achieve the transfer from my new hoped registrar( so it fails )
I wrote to Network Solutions (code R122-LMS) which told me to write to
DomainNames.com which told me to write to Lycos.
So I feel like a dog biting its tail :))
Has somebody any idea of how to get this f..... auth code to get the
transfer working ?
Or , perhaps a LYCOS team member passing thru and reading this , could
help me.

The AUTH CODE is created by the Registrar, so if LYCOS (?) uses Network Solutions to sell domains name as reseller, netsol _could_ tell you the AUTH CODE. But, if you have bought the domain by LYCOS, it would be strange that they can't tell you the AUTH CODE...
What's the LYCOS's answer about that ?

désolé, mais comme j'avais toute ma page en anglais, je n'avais plus fait attention que j'étais dans un groupe français de discussion, vu que j'écris le plus souvent en anglais dans mes contacts :))
LYCOS m'a envoyé ... le mot de passe de mon compte !!! et en plus se permet de m'écrire de consulter mon whois et de constater que LYCOS n'a rien à voir. Comme les DNS sont redirigés vers l'hébergeur de mon site, mon interlocuteur fait une grosse confusion.
effarant de voir la compétence à ce niveau.
D'ailleurs, il suffit de comparer les infos données chez d'autres 'registrars' ( gandi , ... ) avec celles données par LYCOS sur leur 'webcenter' : il n'y a pas photo.
Intéressant aussi de voir comment chacun renvoie en touche : le whois donne un code registrar R122-LRMS , et Afilias ( qui s'occupe des .info ) indique Network Solutions. -> Network Solutions me dit qu'il ne peut rien faire car le domaine a été enregistré par DomaineNames (... the requested domain name was registered through a wholesaler (DomainNames.com LTD). ...) -> DomaineName me répond "...You will have to contact Lycos..."

Oui, c'est eux le Registrar, et cette pratique de se défausser systématiquement sur les revendeurs est pénible. Au besoin, insistez chez Afilias, donnez leur le nom de domaine, qu'ils voient qu'il est chez NSI, et dites leur que NSI refuse de vous aider et de vous donner ce code.
Normalement Afilias va les contacter directement et leur remonter les bretelles.
