Pb Xwindows : "TDFX(0): Board is not responding"

J'ai install=E9 la Mandriva 2006 sans probl=E8me particulier. Je r=E9ussis
=E0 me logguer en mode console sans probl=E8me (je passe toujours par un
startx manuel pour lancer Xwindows).

Quand je lance startx, l'=E9cran devient noir et au bout d'une ou deux
minutes, je vois apparaitre le pointeur de la souris XWindows mais sous
etat occup=E9 et j'ai une barre avec un gribouillis de couleur en haut
de l'=E9cran et le syst=E8me plante, je ne peux le r=E9cup=E9rer avec le
clavier.

Ce comportement a d=E9but=E9 juste apr=E8s l'installation de la Mandriva
2006, je n'avais pas de probl=E8me avant cette installation.

J'ai r=E9cup=E9r=E9 le log de X windows et visiblement il y a un probl=E8me
mais je ne sais comment le r=E9soudre.

Ma Voodoo3 marchait tr=E8s bien avec Mandrak 10.1 bien que r=E9cemment
j'avais eu des plantages avec freeze de plus en plus fr=E9quemment.

Je suis sur une carte m=E8re ASUS A7V8X avec une Voodoo3 et Mandriva
2006.

J'ai installé la Mandriva 2006 sans problème particulier. Je réussis
à me logguer en mode console sans problème (je passe toujours par un
startx manuel pour lancer Xwindows).

Quand je lance startx, l'écran devient noir et au bout d'une ou deux
minutes, je vois apparaitre le pointeur de la souris XWindows mais sous
etat occupé et j'ai une barre avec un gribouillis de couleur en haut
de l'écran et le système plante, je ne peux le récupérer avec le
clavier.

Ce comportement a débuté juste après l'installation de la Mandriva
2006, je n'avais pas de problème avant cette installation.

J'ai récupéré le log de X windows et visiblement il y a un problème
mais je ne sais comment le résoudre.

Ma Voodoo3 marchait très bien avec Mandrak 10.1 bien que récemment
j'avais eu des plantages avec freeze de plus en plus fréquemment.

Je suis sur une carte mère ASUS A7V8X avec une Voodoo3 et Mandriva
2006.

Nan, sérieusement je pense a un soucis d'install d'un des (nombreux)
pack de xWindow. Si tu pouvais le reinstaller, si possible depuis un
autre sdource que ton DVD...
