Soucis avec sane et CanoScan LiDE25

Bonjour chère liste,

Je tourne actuellement sous une Debian etch (2.6.18-5-686 bien mise à
jour et toute fraiche net-installée).

J'ai acheté le scanner CanoScan LiDE25 (bien supporté par sane, selon
leur site web).

J'ai suivi quelques explicatifs trouvés grâce à mon ami google.

J'ai donc fait un petit :
sane-find-scanner
Qui me retourne :

Tout content de moi, j'ai donc tenté de configurer Sane avec ces
informations :

/etc/sane.d/canon.conf

Et dans le doute j'ai aussi configuré Sane avec plustek.conf (j'ai peut
être fait un bêtise ?).

Toutes les autres autres options de ce plustek.conf sont laissées par
défaut.

Et là commencent les soucis : xsane plante au lancement (ne répond tout
simplement pas).
J'ai donc fait un petit : "scanimage -L" ... qui plante tout autant.

Sur ce, j'ai cherché à en savoir plus, j'ai fait donc la commande
suivante :
#export SANE_DEBUG_PLUSTEK%5 ; scanimage -L

Puisque le retour de cette commande est particulièrement longue, je vous
la metterai au bout de ce mail ...

Plus haut, dans canon.conf, il y a marqué que mon scanner serait branché
sous /dev/scanner.
Un petit
ls /dev/scanner
Me retourne ceci :
ls: /dev/scanner: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type

L'erreur ne proviendrait pas de là ?


Enfin, j'ai même fait un petit : tail -f /var/log/syslog
qui me donne :

Qu'en pensez vous ?
Comment avez vous configuré vos fichiers sane pour votre scanner
préféré ?
canon.conf et plustek.conf doivent tout deux être configurés ?! Je ne
pense pas, ça serait quelque part illogique, mais je suis un peu
perdu ...

Après un passage sous Etch, je suis passé sous Lenny. J'ai un scanner
Lide35 :

Je ne sais pas si ça peut t'aider mais je n'ai jamais eu de souci pour
le faire reconnaître. Aucune bidouille. Je passe, pour l'acquisition,
par kooka. Il ne gère très bien. Voili voilou.

Non, justement :-) Ce modèle est supporté par le backend plustek.

cf. http://www.sane-project.org/man/sane-plustek.5.html

Donc, je ne toucherais pas au fichier de config du backend canon à ta
place, ça risque d'introduire de la confusion.

Pour;le configurer, la doc dit ceci :

« To use your scanner with this backend, you need at least two
entries in the configuration file /usr/local/etc/sane.d/plustek.conf

[usb] vendor-id product-id
device /dev/usbscanner »


Donc, j'essaierais ceci dans /etc/sane.d/plustek.conf (l'autre chemin
est valable lors d'une compilation, mais tu as un paquet) :

[usb] 0x04A9 0x2220
device /dev/usbscanner

(sans rien d'autre. Commentes tout le reste.)

Puis à nouveau un scanimage -L pour voir (le cas échéant en root pour
valider la config en excluant les problèmes de droits d'accès).

Bonne chance et dis-nous si c'est mieux ?
