ventilateur toujours en marche (portable)

Bonjour à tous,

Je vous écris un peu en désepoir de cause car j'ai cherché un peu
partout mais je n'ai pas trouvé de solution. En gros ça fait un an que
j'essaye d'installer linux sur mon portable et qu'il ne marche jamais
tout à fait comme il faut. Entre les améliorations du noyau et les mise
à jour de mon bios, je me dis toujours que ça va finir par passer mais
non...

Bon, c'est un compaq evo n800v. Ma dernière tentative est avec une
mandrake 10.1 community (j'ai essayé aussi avec l'official mais ce
n'était pas mieux. Comme ça semblait marcher un peu avec la community,
j'y suis revenu actuellement).

Le problème que je rencontre, c'est que le ventilateur est toujours "on"
même si la température du proc est à 25°...

A priori, l'acpi est bien activé (j'ai essayé avec lilo acpi="on" ou
acpi="force"). Le DSDT qui est chargé semble bien être celui de mon
portable (EVON800). Si je désactive l'acpi (acpi="ht"), il démarre avec
APM, mon ventilateur est bien semble bien géré (un petit coup de
ventilateur lorsque j'utilise le cpu) mais bien sur, je n'ai plus la
gestion de la batterie ni la mise en veille...

Ce que je trouve *très* étrange, c'est qu'il arrive (pour certains
démarrage) que le ventilateur ait le comportement "normal" (démarrage si
t> 57° et arrêt si t<42°). A ce moment là, si je fais un acpi -V il
indique les températures + un petit message genre [active 3] pour le
ventilateur. Sinon en règle général (presque à chaque boot), le ventilo
tourne tout le temps et la commande acpi -V n'indique que les
températures (et non [active 3]). Je joins à la suite la copie de deux
dmesg (l'un après un boot et le ventillo était contrôlé normalement et
l'autre avec aucun contrôle du ventillo).

J'ai fait un diff des deux fichiers, à priori, il n'y a pas une grosse
différence. Si : sur la ligne

Le problème que je rencontre, c'est que le ventilateur est toujours "on"
même si la température du proc est à 25°...

Si quelqu'un a une piste, c'est bien. Sinon, j'attendrais encore un peu
... sous windows :-(


Installez les sources du noyau, récupérez sa configuration "Mandrake" et
vérifiez que l'ACPI est activé pour *tous* les évènements, ce qui est
rarement le cas, toutes distributions confondues.

Si ce n'est pas le cas, recompilez en activant ce qui soit l'être.

Il y a un problème là. La réponse devrait être de ce type:
[]~% sudo /etc/init.d/acpid status
acpid est arrêté

si l'ACPI est désactivé, et
[]~% sudo /etc/init.d/acpid status
acpid (pid 5486) en cours d'exécution...

Si l'acpi est activé.

Je suppose donc que votre noyau *n'est pas compilé* avec le support de
l'acpi.

Recompilez-le (infos:
http://fcolc.rktmb.org/administration/optimisation/noyau ) et dans les
options, activez l'acpi...
