I'm announcing the release of the 3.0.7 kernel.
All users of the 3.0 kernel series must upgrade.

Note, I've had some boot problems with this kernel, and I can't seem to
narrow the issue down, but I think it's due to something not related to
the kernel itself, but am not positive. Please test to verify that I
didn't mess something up.

"Ok, this was a userspace problem on my machines, not a kernel issue, I've resolved it (hint, don't have an old udev with a new libudev package on the same system), and this kernel works fine for me now."
Ce qui donne traduit, je n'ai pas envie de te faire souffrir devant ton incompréhension COMPLETE de la langue anglaise :
"Ok, c'était un problème en espace utilisateur sur mes machines, pas un problème avec le noyau, je l'ai résolu (un truc, n'ayez pas un vieil udev avec un paquet libudev plus récent sur le même système), et le noyau fonctionne bien pour moi maintenant."
Allez, à quand la prochaine fois, qu'on te mette une nouvelle dégelée vu ton niveau proche de moins l'infini en informatique.

C'est toujours mieux que Windows qui release des patches à tout va en laissant aux utilisateurs le soin de trouver les bugs =) Là au moins les utilisateurs sont prévenus.
D'autant plus que si Linus déclare que ses problèmes ne sont pas liés au noyau, il y a de très grosses probabilités que ce soit réellement le cas.
