When booting mdk 10.1 as a sole OS on a Vaio C1VE I get a strong
whistle and a milky and unreadable screen.
When in root, I can open alsamixer but I do not know how to save the
new settings, and how to exit properly from Linux when done.
I have been given this link

and saved this file on a USB-Key under Windows, but I do not know how
to transfer it to the Vaio and what to do with it.

Pour arrêter linux : halt, shutdown (ou reboot). Ctrl+Alt+supp doit marcher aussi.

Probablement pas très adapté. Si l'installeur de la distribution ne reconnait pas votre matériel correctement et que vous êtes totalement néophyte, mieux vaut essayer une autre distribution, par exemple une distrib "Live" Comme Knoppix ou Ubuntu.
