Bonjour,

Quelqu'un pourrait-il me donner un exemple de xorg.conf permettant
l'activation des effets de bureau en opengl sur kde4 ?
Ma config : slackware64, xorg-1.9.2, Nvidia GTS 250

Il faut que tu installes le driver nvidia propriétaire, pour commencer,
en le téléchargeant chez nvidia. Ensuite tu lances le bidule, il va
compiler le module et faire les modifications nécessaires lui-même.

ça je l'ai déjà fait, mais il semble que nvidia-xconfig fait le minimum,
et il manque des trucs dans xorg.conf pour que les effets de bureau en
opengl marchent. Cela dit, glxgearx marche.

Quelqu'un sur un autre newsgroup m'a suggéré d'utiliser la nouvelle
méthode de configuration de xorg,
via udev, en utilisant un fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/nvidia.conf, avec
dedans :

Dans la "configuration du système" de kde, il y a "Configuration des
effets de bureau", et si on choisit d'activer les effets de bureau, on a
le choix entre deux modes d'affichage composite : XRender et OpenGL.
C'est OpenGL qui ne marche pas

Que dit le log d'Xorg :
$ grep EE /var/Xorg.0.log
$ grep WW /var/Xorg.0.log

Si rien ne sort de probant avec les 2 dernières commandes, lire le log
dans son intégralité devrait/pourrait apporter des informations.



J'ai trouvé la solution : supprimer "XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1" dans mon
.bash_login
