Teaming up with Arizona Commerce Authority, JLT Mobile Computers to highlight its VERSO(TM) 15 rugged computer, offering the most effective solution for demanding applications in the harsh environment of mining

CHANDLER, Ariz., US, April 17th, 2017  * * *  JLT Mobile Computers, a leading developer and manufacturer of reliable computers for demanding environments, will be attending Canada's premier mining event, CIM 2017 Convention, from April 30 to May 3 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal to show its rugged computers with proven reliability that increases productivity and minimizes costly interruptions in mining operations.

At the event (at Booth #2800), JLT will be demoing the outstanding capabilities of its VERSO 15 rugged computer. The latest generation, high-performance computers for heavy-duty industry from JLT, the VERSO series are developed to withstand the most extreme conditions, including severe vibrations and chemicals, making them perfectly suited for use in mining operations. The series features 10", 12" and 15" screen computers, where the VERSO 15 model features a 15" resistive 4-wire touch screen and is specifically designed for applications where a larger screen is required, for instance to ensure readability from a distance or to display images alongside text. It can also be used for automated data collection or dispatching, machine guidance and control and to minimize the risks of the human factor, thus making mining operations more efficient, profitable and safe.

Delivering the best price/performance ratios in the industry, JLT Mobile Computers is attending CIM 2017 with the Arizona Commerce Authority, as part of the Arizona State Trade Expansion Program (AZSTEP).  The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), overseen by a public-private sector board composed of Arizona leaders in business and policy-which in turn is overseen by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey-is the state's leading economic development organization with a streamlined mission to grow and strengthen Arizona's economy. The State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) is a financial assistance program for aspiring and current Arizona exporters entering into a new global market. JLT Mobile's CEO, Eric Miller, is a part of Governor Ducey's new business leadership group called the Arizona Zanjeros, serving as ambassadors for the state and working to ensure Arizona continues to flourish economically.

At CIM 2017, mining will be examined through the lens of safety, innovation, employment, leadership, as well as a strong technical program. More than 5,000 mining industry professionals and nearly 450 exhibiting companies featuring the latest in mining equipment, tools, technologies and services are expected to participate.
