Using oe6 with win xp. When I press delete the emails go into the deleted
items folder but also remain in the inbox so I can't delete them, help

Hi! you went into the wrong NG, this one is in French. But what you can do is to make appear hidden files, empty your inbox (put the mails you want to keep into another directory) close OE and delete deleted items.dbx and inbox.dbx
