Bonjour, je viens de me faire offrir un compaq R4000 avec 2x 256Mo de RAM.
J'ai acheté 2x 512 à coté. et je veux remplacer les deux barettes de 256
par les deux 512.
Le souci c'est que je ne trouve pas la deuxieme 256! :-)
Il y a une trappe sous le portable pour acceder à la premiere mais la
deuxième, je ne la trouve pas...
Pourriez-vous m'aider? Je veux pas vraiment tout devisser pour trouver...

J'ai cherché un truc pour le support, et je suis tombé sur un lien qui proposait de chatter avec un gars:
Comme j'avais rien à perdre, je me suis dit qua j'allais essayer. Le chat s'engage sans problèmes, on ne me demande pas de N° d'inscription, ni quoi que ce soit. Il engage la conversation, je vous la retranscrit plus bas (malheureusement les pseudonymes de chat ne sont pas inclu dans la retranscription qu'ils m'envoient par mail apres le chat...). Je masque volontairement le N° de série de mon appareil. Bref, c'est génial... je suis agréablement surpris.
C'est un service à connaitre et à utiliser.

In the R4000 model, one memory slot is at the bottom of the notebook and one under the key board.
How to access the one under the keyboard?
Rakotomandimby , I will provide you a link to download the Service Manual for R4000.
That manual will assist you in locating the second slot and install the memory. The instructions in the manual will guide you and it will be very easy for you.
