hello, I have winxp and linux 10.0, I would like to remove lilo How can I do ?
- You will type, in a console using the root rights (use a console with su), the command: lilo -u. Lilo will be removed from the MBR but if your system is dual boot, you'll have to reload the Windows MBR.
- You will boot on the Windows XP CD and choose to repair the system. You will select the version and open a console for repair and type: fixmbr and then exit.
- You will reboot. Windows will start now.
- To remove the Linux partitions, you'll have to boot on a Linux CD and use fdisk.
