Bonjour,

la seule différence c'est qu'il est installé avec le Service Pack 4 et que
votre domaine n'a pas de suffixe.

Pour info (information publique mais non encore publiée dans la KB):
- Windows 2000 SP4 based systems will not register in a Single Label Domain.

SUMMARY
======
After applying Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000 the systems no longer
dynamically
register DNS records in your single label DNS forward lookup zone.

SYMPTOMS
=======
After applying Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000, all DCs may fail registering
DNS records.
The System Event log of the Windows 2000 SP4 DC may consistently log
NETLOGON 5781 warnings:

CAUSE
====
- A change in the default settings on Windows Service Pack 4 systems.
- Single label domain namespace on target DDNS.
- Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 and also Windows 2000 systems
starting with SP4 do not send updates to top level domains by default.
This can be enabled by a registry setting.

RESOLUTION
=========
Method 1 using Registry Editor
--------------------------

1. On Dynamic DNS clients that attempt to dynamically update the
single-label DNS zone add the UpdateTopLevelDomainZones registry key and set
it's value to 0x1:
Note: The term 'client' also applies to Domain Controllers.

a. On Windows XP
DDNS clients:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesDnsCacheParameters
Name: UpdateTopLevelDomainZones
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0x1
b. On Windows Server 2003 DDNS clients:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPoliciesMicrosoftWindows NTDNSClient
Name: UpdateTopLevelDomainZones
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0x1
c. On Windows 2000 SP4 DDNS clients:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesTcpipParameters
Name: UpdateTopLevelDomainZones
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 0x1
2. To enable an Active Directory domain members (clients, DCs, DNS
servers) to use DNS to locate domain controllers in domains with single
label DNS names, create the following registry key and set its value to
0x1:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesNetlogonParameters
Name: AllowSingleLabelDnsDomain Data Type: REG_DWORD Value: 0x1
3. Reboot the systems on which you changed the registry keys for the
change to take effect.

Method 2 using Group Policy
--------------------------

Enable the "Update Top Level Domain Zones" group policy in the Group Policy
snap-in under
ComputerConfigurationAdministrativeTemplatesNetworkDNS
Client folder on the root domain container in the Users and Computer
snap-in,
or all OUs that host machine accounts for member computers and domain
controllers in the domain.

Note: This Group Policy is only supported on Windows Server 2003

On DNS servers make sure that root servers are not created unintentionally.
You may need to delete the root zone "." on the Windows 2000 based DNS
server to have the DNS records properly declared (this issue has been fixed
in Windows Server 2003)

(The root zone is automatically created when DNS has been installed as it
couldn't reach the root hints) .

Root servers may be created by the DCpromo Wizard. If the "." zone exists, a
root server has been created.
It may be necessary to remove this for proper name resolution to work.
