windows2000 pro: LES DEUX SANS SERVICE PACK
l'enregistrement dynamique des h=F4tes DNS fonctionne.
Depuis que j'ai install=E9 le service pack 4 sur le client,=20
=E7a ne fonctionne plus (sans message d'erreur). Je l'ai=20
donc install=E9 aussi sur le serveur, =E7a ne fonctionne=20
toujours pas.

L'installation du Service Pack 4 désactive par défaut les mises à jour dans les zones DNS qui n'ont pas de suffixe (domaine DNS nommé domaine. par exemple).

Symptoms: After applying Service Pack 4 for Windows 2000 the systems no longer dynamically register DNS records in your single label DNS forward lookup zone.
Cause: - A change in the default settings on Windows Service Pack 4 systems. - Single label domain namespace on target DDNS. - Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 and also Windows 2000 systems starting with SP4 do not send updates to top level domains by default. This can be enabled by a registry setting.
Resolution using Registry Editor --------------------------
1. On Dynamic DNS clients that attempt to dynamically update the single-label DNS zone add the UpdateTopLevelDomainZones registry key and set it's value to 0x1: Note: The term 'client' also applies to Domain Controllers.
