I have recently been encountering problems with trying to open Outlook
Express 6 on a Window 2000 os.
An error message will pop up showing the number 0x800705AA,997 stating that
the internet account manager cannot be started, then a second error message
will pop up stating that msoe.dll cannot be initialized.
I have tried several registry fixes from microsofts website , and also have
completely uninstalled & reinstalled OE6, & it will work for a while, but
come back several hours later, try to open it, & the two error messages
reappear. The only way I can get OE6 to open is to reboot my system.
I've run virus scans, & have used the latest updates from
microsoft......HELP
