error 711 pour VPN

To troubleshoot this issue, I suggest we first try these steps:

Step 1
==== Modify the registry:

1. Click Start, and the click Run.
2. In the Open box, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks), and then
click
OK.
3. Highlight My Computer, click the Tool menu and select Export to back up
the
current settings.
4. Navigate to the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesRasMan

5. In the right pane of the Registry Editor window, note the Data value
for the
ObjectName item. If this value is not LocalSystem, follow these steps:

1) Right-click ObjectName, and then click Modify.
2) In the "Value data" box, type "LocalSystem" (without the
quotation
marks), and then click OK.

6. Navigate to the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesRasManPPPEAP

7. Delete the following registry keys under the EAP subkey:

To do this, right-click the key (for example, right-click 25), and
then click
Delete. Click Yes to confirm the key deletion.

8. Quit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

Step 2
==== Start System Service Manually:

1. Open Start then right click on My Computer.
2. Select Manage.
3. Click the Plus (+) next to Services and Applications and then highlight
Services.
4. Open the Properties on the following services and set them back to
Manual and
start them back up starting with Telephony.

Telephony,
Remote Access Connection Manager,
Remote Access Auto Connection Manager Services

Hi

Can anyone help me on a problem when installing a VPN
connection on my XP home edition. when doing the wizzard
trying to connect to the internet, I get an error message
711 which stops me from going further. do I need to enable
something or add anything?
