When I enter a number in a newly opened fresh spreadsheet the number is
automatically divided by 10.0. When I enter a number below 1.0 this
effect does not occur.
I have used Excel for over 8 years and never have experienced this
phenomenon, it is driving me crazy.
Can someone please tell me what is going on and how to fix it?

Outils - Options - Modifications - Décimale fixe.
Just use a dictionary to translate. Don't have time to find an English Excel to translate myself.
