Bonjour,
je voulais installer le toolkit de pdf (c'est bien la meme chose que pdf hack pdftk ?) et j'ai ce message
d'erreur....
utopia zork # emerge pdftk

Seulement j'ai fait un emerge jdk et j'ai donc cellui de blackdown
ou un turc du genre...
pour tester quand je fais un javac j'ai ca

Regardes sous root ce que donne "java-config -L" et positionne
correctement ton environnement java en regardant les options de
java-config --help.
Je pense que ce doit être cela ... pense à un env-update et
source /source/profile après.

Bonsoir,
Il semblerait, d'après le
fichier /usr/portage/app-text/pdftk/pdftk-1.12.ebuild, que "pdftk" a plutot
besoin du compilateur java de chez GNU "gcj" fournit par "gcc" qui génè re du
code "natif" et non pas du compilateur java classique "javac" qui, lui,
génère du byte-code pour une "JVM":

pkg_setup() {
if [ -z "$(which gcj 2>/dev/null)" ]; then
eerror "It seems that your system doesn't provides a Java compiler."

Les instructions fournies devraient normalement résoudre le problème:

"Re-emerge sys-devel/gcc with "java" and "gcj" enabled."

c.à.d. ajouter les mot-clés "java" et "gcj" à la variable "USE" dans le
fichier /etc/make.conf et relancer un "emerge gcc".

Soit patient...
