installation modem adsl ecitelecom usb

bonjour à tous!

voilà je vient de me mettre à linux et j'ai installr la mandrake community!

et je ne sait pas comment installer mon modem adsl eci telecom usb.. sachant
que je ne connait pas vaiment linux je vient juste de l'installer et j'en
sait pas plus.. et je veut installer mon modem pour pouvoir aller sur le net
et en même temps apprendre grace au nombreuse ressource du net voilà..

donc j'ai réussit à trouver des explication mais imcompréhensible pour moi
.. ne connaissant rien à linux pour le moement... et j'aimerais savoir si
quelqu'un pouvait m'expliquer comment je peut faire pour aller sur le net en
fait.. tout configurer du début à la fin sachant que mon modem n'est pas
reconnut pour le moement...

en fait dés que je pourrait aller sur le net je n'aurait plus de problême...
la e suis sous xp!

j'aimerais des explication complétes aec tout ce que je doit faire mais
vraiment pas par pas du moment ou j'arrive sur l'interface graphique kde....

merci beaucoup et j'éspère que je ne dérange pas avec mon problême peut être
déjà vut....

les leds s'allument en premier la rouge puis la verte, s'il y a un
message d'erreur du genre 'Authentication failed' veuillez seulement
répéter depuis l'étape 3.<br>S'il y a un timeout et que la led verte
clignote toujours, répéter l'opération depuis l'étape 3 en prenant soin
