Bonjour,

J'ai installé une distribution Kubuntu 64 bits sur une clé USB en mode
persistent, ce qui fonctionne très bien

Seul problème, ma carte réseau n'est pas reconnue, et il semble qu'il
s'agisse d'un problème souvent signalé, mais je ne trouve pas de
solution

La carte mère est une ASUS P5E, la carte réseau une Marvel Yukon
88E8056 PCI-E

Par contre, avec une Ubuntu 32 bits installé selon le même principe,
cela fonctionne très bien

Bon, j'ai vu que je ne suis pas le seul à avoir des soucis avec cette
carte réseau, demain je vais faire 2 trucs

1.- Mettre à jour ma distros depuis une autre machine

2.- Mettre une carte réseau dans lamachine

Je donnerai un feddback

C'est plutôt une bonne chose, en fait : tu imagines si ta carte réseau se
promenait toute seule sur ton bureau avec ses petites jambes ? Ce ne serait
pas pratique du tout.

Traduction du sarcasme : si tu ne décris pas avec précision ce que tu fais,
ce à quoi tu t'attends et ce qui se passe exactement, tu ne risques pas
d'obtenir de l'aide efficace.

Voici un exemple de formulation totalement inutile : « Ma carte réseau ne
fonctionne pas. »

Voici un exemple de formulation correcte : « Ma carte réseau est vue par le
système, je peux configurer une adresse IP manuellement, je peux alors voir
les trames ARP sortir, mais je ne vois aucun trafic entrant. Évidemment, en
DHCP, aucun bail n'est obtenu. Il n'y a pas de messages du noyau pendant que
j'essaie. Le câble est bien branché ; d'ailleurs, ça fonctionne avec telle
autre version du système. »

C'est bien toi qui parlait (à tort) de formulation des problèmes à JKB
sur fcold ?

Applique toi ton propre conseil et débrouille toi sans moi.

J'ai essayé de te poser les questions dont les réponses sont nécessaires
à l'établissement d'un diagnostique de base mais tu as feint d'y
répondre.

Pour ma part je n'ai aucun problème avec ce matériel en 64 bits.

Salut,

j'ai le chip réseau intégré à ma CM (Asus M3A32MVP), et je constate de
temps en temps que le chip ne trouve pas le lien... (la loupiote reste
également éteinte coté switch). Seul moyen trouvé pour corriger ce petit
pb, rmod et (re)modprobe du module sky2 qui remet les choses en ordre.
Pour info mon noyau : Linux 2.6.29.2 #1 SMP Wed Apr 29 22:26:43 CEST
2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux, switch gigabit DLink.
Jamais testé en 32 pour voir si le problème existe également.

Pour vérifier ce point après le boot regarde ce que donne ethtool eth0
(no link ???).
