This position is for a technical lead for a Lotus Notes to Exchange
migration project. It requires two primary skills/experiences:
1)Strong architect level understanding of Microsoft infrastructures and
products (e.g., Windows, Exchange, NT, Active Directory), particularly
migrations and upgrades from legacy environment (Lotus Notes)
2)Senior consultative skills, ability to both mentor engineers and to manage
account relationships with clients at the senior level
Overall Responsibilities:
Assess, Design and oversee Delivery of Lotus Notes to Microsoft oriented
Infrastructure project (Exchange, AD, Windows Server) – across large,
distributed user bases
Install/Upgrade, configure, rollout, and tune MS products (Exchange, AD,
etc.) at customer sites
Provide engagement management of client’s expectations over course of project
Create proof-of-concept implementations of MS based technologies
Skills needed:
Management
Ability to manage multiple resources of various skill sets
OS
At least 5 years NT4.0 architecture/implementation/administration experience
At least 5 years Windows 200X/Active Directory architecture, implementation
and administration experience.
Familiarity with architecting and administrating Exchange 200x
OS Migration
At least 5 years migrating NT4.0 to Windows200x/Active Directory (small,
medium and large clients)
Messaging
At least 5 years of Exchange 5.5/200x administration experience
At least 5 years of Exchange 200x architecture and administration experience
(small, medium and large clients)
Experience administering other mail system - Lotus Notes
Messaging Migration
Experience in migrating Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 200x in any environment
(small, medium or large)
Experience in migrating Mail systems to Exchange 200x in any environment
(medium or large) - Lotus Notes
Miscellaneous
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
Multi-tasking skills necessary
Strong customer facing skills, experience with the consulting business
model, and ability to share knowledge and experience with other technical
team members
Ability to work and thrive in a dynamic, changing technology environment.
