on est bien d'accor : je ne fais que "make modules_install" , lilo,
reboot et nothing else ? (pas de mkinitrd, modprobe -options etc...)

as tu des remarques sur les lignes "forcedeth" et NFORCE-MCP61 ? il
semble qu'il y ait un pb d'irq....

ça avance mais ce n'est pas propre comme install. il y a trop de choses
ou pas assez. le fait de compiler sous /home semble perturber le systeme.
je ne sais où investiguer.

est la gateway par defaut chez Free pour le reseau 82.227.33.0 sur
lequel je suis (je répète que mon PC est standalone).

si je pouvais faire un traceroute, je passerais par
82.227.33.x (mon IP), puis 82.227.33.254 (serveur chez Free), puis
d'autres serveurs Free et internet...

comment puis je recevoir ces paquets avec ma config réseau bancale : je
"pingue" même pas les IP DNS Free.

c'est le firewall de linux qui a détecté ce paquet ?

ainsi : Fedora, noyau 2.6.19 : pas de pb. et je crois que debian gère

la commande dhclient me vire la mauvaiise route présente au boot du
systeme.
j'ai dhcp-client et dhcp-common installés.


Bon, bah visiblement c'est la configuration de l'interface réseau qui
est foireuse. Elle est bien configurée en DHCP avec les outils mandriva
? Ou, si tu l'a configurée en manuelle, tu ne t'es pas trompé dans les
paramètres ? En tout cas, visiblement tu n'as plus de problème de
driver.

non, j'utilmise le centre de controle de mandriva. il y a un bug car mon
fichier /etc/hosts ne contient que le loopback (127.0.0.1),
/Etc/resolv.conf et ifconfig sont, eux, opérationnels.

En tout cas, visiblement tu n'as plus de problème de driver.

j'ai tout réinstallé : LiveCD2007 (noyau 2.6.17), puis compilation et
install du noyau 2.6.20. mais j'ai tjs les mêmes symptomes, notamment :
