I think you mean that the icon indicating the programme which will open this or that file (document, video, image) is not the one you want (not the programme you want therefore).. To change it, right click then 'open with...' then 'choose the programme' shown at the bottom. After you've chosen the programme, click the box 'Always use thios programme to open this type of file (or similar) and off you go/
