Ok here I go,
A company called me (20 Workstations)
1 server (clone) with double HD S-ATA 160GB by maxtor
IN RAID 0????? WHT THE FUCK did the dude do before me...
ok well worst case scenario happend...
one of both crashed, (fysical crash I/O Errors)
the admin told the so lets call him" it manager "(one of the employees who
knows lil bout puters (how to install xp)
Raid 0 Was mirroring and no data splitting
so he thinking being safe didn't take no back-ups...
i came in saw it...
took a spare harddrive and started reinstalling sbs on it with my own cds
since the other admin gives no sign of life being already sued by the same
company
for other stuff and the cds not laying around...
the serial being on the case I was like "no problem"
Installing ... Serial not working... since i had like 20people being
technicaly workless,
i took mine keeping in mind I could change it later on (no way to activate
mine since they already got a license)
(u know in the activation screen clicking telephone activation... Change
serial)
the server already being reinstalled/applications running... users using it
(exchange/Apps/shared folders/etc...)
this all happend over weekend... and today
is there i way I can still keep this server running and make it accept my
serial?
(the label on the case said... Windows Server SBS En standard... my cd's
being the same i don't really understand)

Are you sure the CDs were the same? To my knowledge retail editions of the OS will not install volume license keys, and vice versa, which could be your original install issue. If that is the case, you may end up needing to do a repair-install over the top with the correct CDs and their own key. Pure speculation on my part though as I've never been in that situation.
