Quelle est la durée de vie d'un PPC? Au bout de combien de temps doit-on en
changer parce-qu'il devient démodé?
Aujourd'hui, un PC de bureau devient dépassé au bout de 3 ou 4 ans.
Je demande cela car j'envisage l'achat d'un Loox 720 mais si c'est pour en
changer dans 2 ans, autant prendre un modèle bien moins cher.

Here's an update on my Pocket PC purchase for those who are interested. I ended up going with the Loox 420 which, so far, has worked great together with my Holux GR-231 bluetooth GPS receiver. While I haven't had an opportunity to try it on my motorcycle yet, I have used it on a few occasions in my car. I also ended up buying OziExplorerCE, and despite only running the trail version on my PC, I'm happy with the features it offers.
When it came to the mount I decided to try and make my own before paying $100+ for a professional one. After drawing a few ideas on paper I came up with a simple design that would fit the bill. I also thought I would have to mount the GPS on the bike, but despite keeping it in one of the pockets of my motorcycle pants it still picked up six satellites and NMEA. This was when I was inside the shed I keep my bike, so out in the open there shouldn't be any problems what-so-ever.
Here are a few pictures of the mount for the curious. I know it looks a bit crude, but keep in mind it only cost me $5 to make. :-)
A priori d'après la video postée par "CR" dans le même sujet je me suis planté le mode paysage est déja existant, c'est le mode plein écran qui reste à venir, autant pour moi.
