Outlook Lossing connection with exchange Server..

Hi,

We just installed new PC's with XP and Outlook 2003.
Some machines are frequently lossing connection to exchange server.

I have to go to profile and delete entry for exchange and re-create it and
then it works for some time.

PC is Dell 2400 with OnBoard Broadcom NIC card. (I installed another NIC
card and still problem exists).
OS is XP with latest Service Pack.
Outlook 2003.
Exchange 2000 with latest service packs.

Hello,

could you have a look to some counters like CPU usage, disk usage, memory
usage and RPC request. If you have lot of RPC request, that can be this that
cut your connections.
There is also another thing to see. Look if online database defrag are all
done on the same time. If you have several database, you must scedule
differents time to run online database defrag.
Last point: have you a firewall between Outlook and Exchange ?
