Pb carte réseau (portable)

Bonjour

je peine à établir ma connexion internet (via carte réseau vers freebox
en DHCP)
normalement ça se fait tout seul ...

mais là non ! portable Toshiba Satellite M40-331, Ubuntu Breezy (5.10)
noter que sur le même ordi, ça fonctionne avec Mandriva (donc
c'est possible !)

freebox configurée en mode routeur

la carte réseau est bien reconnue :

la seconde ligne pose problème, ce devrait être du type :

Un ping 127.0.0.1 passe sans problème

Un ping sur la freebox renvoie :
connect : Network is unreachable

Mais si j'en crois le menu Réglages du réseau, tout est bon je suis
connecté ...!


si vous zaviez qq idées pour m'aider à régler mon problème, elles
seraient les bienvenues ;-)

Ce sont deux commande qui permettent de demander un bail dhcp sur
l'interface réseau. Je pensais que tu pouvais ne pas avoir de client
dhcp installé, or tu as configuré ton interface pour demander une
adresse par dhcp.
A la réflexion, c'est autement improbable que tu n'aies pas de client
dhcp.


sudo dhcpcd eth0

Oui cf la remarque de Pascal, il existe d'autres clients dhcp. Le
commandes que j'ai cité ne sont que celles que j'utilise le plus.
Du coup tu dois avoir dhclient plutôt.

Donc, automatiquement ton interface réseau ne se configure pas en dhcp,
par contre lorsque tu appelles manuellement le serveur tu obtiens le
bail.

Vérifies bien que tu n'as pas une erreur dans ton
/etc/network/interfaces

Sinon ça pourrait venir d'un problème de timing au démarrage, genre le
montage des interfaces réseau qui se ferait avant le chargement du
module de ta carte ? Vérifie dans dmesg dans quel ordre ça se passe.
