Police arrest a man for leaving his children home alone.
Elijah Gaines is accused of leaving his two young children while he went to the store. Police found Gaines' 4-year-old crying in the stairwell of their apartment building. The child led them to the apartment where officers also found a 14-month-old girl by herself trying to eat from an open jar of Vaseline.
Gains has posted bond and a pre-trial hearing October 6th. He must stay away from the children.
