I have problem about Windows2000 start up. When I boot the PC to
Windows2000, it just show the backgroup colour and the starting sound only.
However, all the icons, start button and all the things were disappered. I
just can move the mouse point only. And I need to power off the PC and
restart it again. but, the happen is the same.
My PC config:
Partition magic for booting.
40 GB HD
Parition 1: Windows2000
Parition 2: Wondows XP (no problem)

That's seems to be like a video driver problem !
Did you started your system with the F8 option, ie simplified mode ? Then you should have an option to start in VGA mode.
And you will have to re-install the card drivers, etc...
