Probleme demon pcmcia

Bonjour tout le monde!
Voila mon probleme:

J ai installé une mandrake 9.1 sur mon portable presario 2800EA.
Et le module pcmcia ne marche pas.
J ai installé le module pcmcia (a partir des rpms sur les cds) et
durant le demarrage, le demon semble bien lancé.
Mais lorsque je met une carte pcmcia rien ne se passe car en fait le
demon pcmcia n est pas lancé d'apres DrakXservices.
La commande /etc/init.d/pcmcia start (ou status) ne me renvoie rien et
ne lance rien.
Donc si kkun pouvait eclairé ma lanterne de nouveau linuxien :o)

Tu devrais trouver ton bonheur sur ce site: http://www.linux-laptop.net/

Il y a une page sur le Compaq Presario 2800T, je ne sais pas si c'est un
modèle similaire. Une sur le 2805EA, mais le PCMCIA n'a pas été essayé.

Il faudrait donner plus d'infos: quand tu démarres le service pcmcia, tu
dois avoir des messages dans /var/log/messages et aussi en tapant
"dmesg". Fais nous parvenir ces messages.

J ai une petite rectification à faire, mon portable est le presario
2528EA en fait. J ai deja ete sur le site linux-laptop ou
linux-on-laptop et ils ne m'apprennent rien ou ca marche chez eux (le
2541EA a aussi des problemes avec le pcmcia mais lors de l'unloading)

Pourtant lors de la demande du status du demon je n'ai aucune reponse
et drakxservices me dit qu'il est arreté.
