Bonjour =E0 tous
Je suis nouveau sur la liste et nouveau en debian.
Je viens de terminer l'installation d'un serveur ia64 Bull novascale
avec debian-sarge-ia64=20
Tout fonctionne nickel, excepter X.
J'ai essayer le nouveau kernel 2.6.7, mais sans succ=E8s.
La machine est livr=E9e avec RH AS2.1, et la X fonctionne bien.

Je n'ai pas de message d'erreur sp=E9cial, X semble tourner correctement
mais j'ai un =E9cran noir
CTRL+Fx ne fonctionne plus.
Uniquement CTRL+ALT+Del fonctionne.
Je suis oblig=E9 de me connecter via ssh depuis mon portable pour killer X
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 ne modifie pas mon XF86Config-4 est ce
normal ?
Je sais plus ou chercher si qqun =E0 une id=E9e ???

La version de X : 4.3.0.1

si t'as modifié ce fichier à la main, oui. Pour que dpkg-reconfigure
marche à nouveau, faut suivre la procédure décrite dans ce même
fichier et plus bas aussi.


Je sais plus ou chercher si qqun à une idée ???

le reste semble ok. Que dit /var/log/XFree86.log ? As-tu essayé avec
le driver 'vesa' ?

Pour la version EXP 1.1, je vais utiliser un codage par chaine de
caractères, pouvant aller jusque 255 octets, le code étant
généré de manière diverse, le codage se fera maintenant
dans plusieurs sens, et plusieurs fois, n'utilisant aussi
qu'une série de mul, div, mod, inc, dec plutot qu'en
utilisant qu'un simple inc pour code et dec pour décoder.

Be oui, j'avais essayé mais sans succès, le fichier reste à la date d u
16 et non du 30.

Be oui, j'avais essayé mais sans succès, le fichier reste à la date du
16 et non du 30.



Ok cela fonctionne, le truc c'est le path complet /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
..., moi j'avais lancé la commande depuis /etc/X11 :
md5sum XF86Config-4 > ...

Mais le problème reste le même : ecran noir.
