I never access the web from outlook but regularly when I
want to open my inbox or another folder, suddenly the web
access opens to searchnav or popnav.
I have tried to get rid of this with no result
If I close outlook several times, after 3 or 4 times this
disappears but it comes back regularly
How can I get rid of this ot how can I disable my web
access in outlooK?

Hello,
The behavior you're describing makes me think that maybe you have activated an automatic mail retrieval. Try to look the options menu and check for the mail preferences. If so, deactivate the automatic retrieval. Also try to look in the Add-in manager (click on the Tools menu > Options > "Other" tab > "Advanced options" and click on "Add-In manager") and try to uncheck every add-in that maight be linked to any extra application.
Don't hesitate to give us a feedback.

Hello
thank you for your answer
I have done what you said
In options menu and mail preferences I did not find anything called automatic retrieval Anyway, I have deactivated the closest thing: "automatically save unsent messages"
Then I have been in Tools/options/other/advanced options/add-in manager and I deactivated the only item: "exchange extension property pages"
All this had no result at all
Any other ideas
Is it possible to disable my web access in outlooK?
Regards

Hello,
Too bad the answer couldn"t help you troubleshoot the problem in Outlook. Obviously, there is no add-in (in the Add-in Manager) that makes Outlook connect to the net. Anyway, you're talking about "Web Access"... explain what you mean. Are you saying that Outlook tries Send/Receive mails automatically ? By the way, deactivating the option "automatically save unsent messages" won't help...
To answer to your question "Is it possible to disable my web access in outlooK?", if you have Outlook 2000 installed in the "Internet Mail Only" mode, you still have the way to disable the connection to the net for mails retrieval by unchecking the checkbox "Include the account for retrieval and synchronization" (or something like that) in your mail account properties.
