Que faire d'un disque dur mort ?

Il tourne, et peut même essayer de conserver des données, mais n'est pas du
tout fiable.
Déchetterie ? Il existe des bricoleurs qui aiment récupérer des pièces ?
(autant leur faire plaisir)

Des blocs défectueux (« LBA »), je crois, il ne donnait pas vraiment de
détails. Après le formatage de bas niveau, il m'a dit carrément « contactez
Samsung pour retourner le matériel » ou quelque chose comme ça.

Ce disque perdait fréquemment des données.
