Je tente d'installer un scanner epson perfection 660.
Il est supporté par sane via snapscan.conf
J'ai récupéré le firmware du scanner dans le pilote windows
(TAIL_061.BIN) et j'ai modifié le fichier /etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf pour
mettre le chemin vers mon firmware.
Quand j'exécute la comme sane-find-scanner :
# sane-find-scanner
# sane-find-scanner will now attempt to detect your scanner. If the
# result is different from what you expected, first make sure your
# scanner is powered up and properly connected to your computer.
# No SCSI scanners found. If you expected something different, make
sure that
# you have loaded a kernel SCSI driver for your SCSI adapter.
# Also you need support for SCSI Generic (sg) in your operating system.
# If using Linux, try "modprobe sg".
found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x0114 [EPSON
Scanner]) at libusb:001:004
# Your USB scanner was (probably) detected. It may or may not be
supported by
# SANE. Try scanimage -L and read the backend's manpage.
# Not checking for parallel port scanners.
# Most Scanners connected to the parallel port or other proprietary ports
# can't be detected by this program.
Ceci me parait plutôt bien !
Par contre quand je tente un scanimage -L
la commande se fige et je n'ai jamais de réponse !
Je ne trouve pas de solution, une idée ?

En fait ça marche, mais le scanimage -L bloque toujours... C'est étrange, mais bon.
