Je viens d'installer la Mandrake community (10.0) sur mon PC. J'ai
télécharger le rpm speedtouch et l'ai installé. J'ai aussi téléchargé le
micronoyau et l'ai mis dans le répértoire qu'il faut.
Cependant je n'arrive toujours pas à me connecter à internet. Je n'en
connais pas la raison ! Voici les messages que j'ai trouvé dans les journaux
:
"Usb devfs : USBDEVFS_BULK failed dev3 ep 0X85 len 512 ret-110 " dans
/var/log/messages
Message du kernel : "usb_control/bulk_msg timeout."
Message du kernel : "modem_run : BLOCK 1"
Je me demande si ça sert à quelque chose de mettre ces messages, mais s'il y
a d'autres informations qui peuvent vous aider à m'aider n'hésitez pas à me
les demander.

J'ai lu sur un post similaire qu'il fallait lancer le deamon pppd.
Voici la commande que j'ai exectué et une trace d'execution echouée (j'ai masqué mon identifiant utilisateur par des xxx). Aprés avoir attendu pas mal de temps j'ai tué le processus (ctrl-c) : [20:20:11--/home/chaouche]<ok> pppd call adsl updetach
