Yan,
Autour d'une installation de SP2 donnant la même erreur, Dinesh TK a suggéré:
Try removing TCP/IP from the enabled list in server network utility and allow only named pipes.Do the same with client network utility in the server. Now try the SP install. If its runs fine enable TCP/IP as it was before. Dinesh.

Thank you for your first answer. I just need an other information. I use Windows Server 2000 and if I have well understood, I have to remove the TCP/IP protocol from the Network Connexions ? Or is it something I have to do from the SQL "Entreprise Manager" ?
Thank you very much for your answer.

I assume Dinesh was referring to the SQL Server Network Utility, available from Start|Programs|Microsoft SQL Server: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/howtosql/ht_netpnc_49il.asp ' SK
