Too many different cell formats

Pôv toé. Si t'avais pensé à ton affaire avant de mettre trop de
chichis cosmétiques dans ton classeur ça ne serait pas arrivé.

I cannot open anymore a large Excel application file I developped

Where can I change this limt on cell formats?
I use Excel 2000 (Office 2000 SR-1 Professional) on Windows XP.
