Hi !
Try this : in the properties of "My computer" go to the advanced tab. Then clic on "strartup and recovery". Verify that "automatically reboot" is checked.
See the article 320299 in the Microsoft Knowledge base (maybe in frech...).
Note : this article is about Windows XP but it should be the same procedure on Windows 2000.
