Comment fair un cd d'installation linux ubuntu

Bonjour,
Voila j'ai acheté un vieux pc et je veux installer ubuntu dessus.
Sur mon autre pc j'ai deja un dossier d'installation Ubuntu ISO (un dossier qui s'appel: Ubuntu 8.04-1-desktop-i386.iso) qui fonctionne tres bien puisque je l'ai deja installer sur VMware server.(mais bon sur vmware server il faut juste placer le dossier dans le logiciel donc c'est pas bien dur...)

Le problème c'est que je sais pas si je peux le mettre sur cd,et si oui, si je doit mettre tout le dossier ou juste les .exe .
En gros il faudrait me dire comment faire un cd d'installation...
ET autre question, est ce que la marque du PC change quelque chose??? Pour info c 'est un super vieux MSI.

s'il a supprimé le contenu du disque avec un utilitaire du style
delpart.exe, le disque se retrouve "à blanc" (plus de table de
partition).

Si c'est le cas, il faudrait recréer une table de partition avec Gparted
par exemple.

La nappe qui part du lecteur cd, va directement à la carte mère, alors
que celle qui part du lecteur dvd passe par le DD et va après à la carte

Pas forcément, si tout est configuré pour que ca fonctionne comme ça il n'y
a pas de soucis de ce coté ci.

Enfin moi je dis sa je dis rien parsk je maîtrise pas trop...

Sinon dedans c'est le gros bordel les nappes sont toute emmêlées, toutes
tordues...
Sa peut jouer sa?



Une nappe défectueuse est assez rare mais pour l'avoir déjà vu une fois
c'est une panne vraiment difficile à détecter (dans le sens où on ne crois
jamais que c'est l'origine du problème).

Ca ne coûte rien d'essayer de la remplacer et de vérifier les cavaliers
(master/salve) au passage.

Par contre, si tu ne maîtrise pas ce que tu fais, fais toi assister par
quelqu'un de compétent (qui en profitera pour t'expliquer).

Non, en fait c'était plutôt ça (avec 2 back slashes):

dmesg | grep [sd

Mais tu as bien fait de poster le dmesg complet puisque ton disque est ATA
il devrait apparaître en hdx et non en sdx.

Il se trouve qu'il n'apparaît pas.

- Vérifie et/ou remplace la nappe IDE connectée au disque dur
- Vérifie la connexion de l'alimentation du disque dur (éventuellement, si
tu peux booter ton CD sur le lecteur DVD, n'hésite pas à utiliser le
connecteur d'alimentation et la nappe IDE de ton lecteur CD (celui qui est
branché tout seul).

A la suite de quoi, reposte le dmesg.

Avant toute chose, tu peux aussi aller vérifier dans le BIOS que le disque
est bien vu par celui-ci. Si ce n'est pas le cas, le problème est
vraissemblablement matériel (nappe/controleur/disque H.S ou mal connecté)

Sur mon autre pc j'ai deja un dossier d'installation Ubuntu ISO (un dossier qui
s'appel: Ubuntu 8.04-1-desktop-i386.iso) qui fonctionne tres bien puisque
je l'ai deja installer sur VMware server.(mais bon sur vmware server il faut
juste placer le dossier dans le logiciel donc c'est pas bien dur...)

Le problème c'est que je sais pas si je peux le mettre sur cd,et si oui,
si je doit mettre tout le dossier ou juste les .exe .
En gros il faudrait me dire comment faire un cd d'installation...
ET autre question, est ce que la marque du PC change quelque chose??? Pour info
c 'est un super vieux MSI.
