Bonjour,

Je ne sais par quelle opration,
les noms des partitions de mon serveur sont
passs de /dev/sdaX /dev/sdcX,
soit 8 partitions /dev/sda1 8 => /dev/sdc1 8.

Comment rtablir leur nom en /dev/sda1 8 ?

On m'a dit que c'tait impossible, sauf en recompilant le noyau.

# blkid /dev/sda1 : ne donne rien.
# blkid /dev/sdc1 :

Le système ne connait pas /dev/sda1.
Le système connait /dev/sdc1 avec LABEL = "sda1"

Regarde dans les logs du noyau les messages relatifs aux disques.
Normalement, c'est parce que deux autres "disques" (ou assimilés, comme
clé USB ou adaptateur USB-SD) ont été détectés avant le disque en
question et ont donc été nommés sda et sdb. Autre hypothèse : la
communication avec le disque a été rompue transitoirement et celui-ci a
été redétecté sous un autre nom.
Comment rétablir leur nom en /dev/sda1 à 8 ?

Tu vas dans la mauvaise direction. Au lieu de t'acharner à fixer les
noms des disques, tu devrais plutôt faire en sorte de t'en affranchir en
utilisant à la place des identifiants persistants comme les UUID, LABEL,
en bref tout ce qui crée des liens symboliques dans /dev/disk...
Le temps où le nom d'un disque dépendait de sa position physique
(primary master -> hd0) est révolu depuis longtemps.

Je ne vois pas en quoi recompiler le noyau t'aiderait.

Peut-être parce que sda1 n'existe pas ?

C'est la pire façon de nommer une partition : une étiquette qui ne
fournit aucune information sur le contenu ou le rôle de la partition, et
qui est fausse voire trompeuse lorsque le disque change de nom, comme ici.

A ma connaissance il n'y a pas et il n'y a jamais eu de générateur de
règles udev pour le nommage persistant des disques dans Debian,
contrairement au nommage des interfaces réseau.


Bonjour, par contre j'ai bien reussi, un peu par miracle, a fixer un
peripherique en "/dev/cequejeveux", du coup peu importe si le /dev/sd?

Bizarre, votre intervention apparait en grise comme une signature et la
mienne n'a pas ete commentee. En l'occurence il s'agissait pour moi d'un
lecteur de cartouche Fujitsu Gigamo

donc pas d'ID ni de label...
