The UK photo stores I assist in managing sell black and white film
from Kodak, Ilford, Fujifilm, Rollei and ADOX. Our sales are too
small to be representative of the whole UK so I get my information
from the manufacturers.
I am told by Ilford and Adox that sales of black and white film are
steadily increasing against a background of an overall photography
market that is declining in the UK because of our austerity programme
and in the Euro zone because of its austerity programme.
I am told by Kodak and Fujifilm that colour film sales are still
dropping significantly, although sales of 4x5 inch transparency film
are holding up well.
In January 2013 I will be joining a large UK retail chain in a senior
position with the objective of improving the performance of its still
photography offering. I expect I will have access to a lot more
market data than I have now.

Ca ne m'étonne pas vraiment, les forums et autres mailing-lists dédié s à l'argentique N/B restent très vivaces et on y voit régulièremen t de nouvelles têtes.
Le matos est toujours assez facilement disponible, par chez moi, on trouve toujours des pelloches 35mm N/B en grande surface*. Et il y a d'autres signes, par exemple Jobo a recommencé à produire ses processeurs (arrêtés il y a quelques années) et a même sorti un no uveau modèle, le CPP-3, présenté à la Photokina ...
Pour la diminution du reste, notamment du numérique, c'est maintenant un marché de renouvellement et, avec la crise, ça ne peut que baisser.
* En comparaison, cette même grande surface n'a plus de rayon musique ! J e suis resté sur le cul le week-end dernier quand j'ai voulu y acheter un CD: parait qu'avec les téléchargements, c'est plus rentable. Même le rayon DVDs commence à fondre ...

D'un autre côté, on doit reconnaitre que 99.99% des films vendus, avant le numérique, étaient des films couleurs, ça tempère l'optimisme affiché quant aux ventes actuelles de l'argentique.
